About Us
Harris Insurance Agency is a Family owned Independent Insurance Agency contracted with the majority of current Medicare and Health Care Insurance companies. We serve Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Michigan, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, and Arizona. Harris Insurance Agency can tailor a solution for each client’s needs based upon a wide selection of companies and products as well as numerous years of experience in the industry. We have an extensive client base but still offer a personal approach to doing business.
OUR STORY
Jeff started in the Insurance business July 1998 in Arizona. Jeff began in this industry working in Life Insurance and Financial Services for the first ten years. A business connection arose in 2003 which gave Jeff the opportunity to move back home to Ohio. In 2008, Jeff started in the Medicare field and quickly decided to focus solely in this industry. Cindy was working in the Healthcare field when she met Jeff and they married in 2011. As Cindy continued working in the healthcare field, both she and Jeff put all their efforts into the agency and its growth. Eventually, Cindy left the healthcare field and became an Independent Agent in 2018. Jeff and Cindy have grown the agency to encompass 18 agents within the 9 states the agency services. Jeff and Cindy live in the Centerville area and have 3 kids. Jeff unexpectedly passed at the end of April 2024. Cindy is continuing the business as Jeff and she had planned. Cindy’s daughter, Alli, has joined the business to help continue it as a Family owned Independent Insurance Agency.

Jeff graduated from Graham High School and then from Bluffton College with a degree in Sports Management. Jeff played football while in college. After graduating college, Jeff began working with the Boys & Girls Club in Ohio then in Arizona. In 1998, Jeff began his career in the insurance business. Jeff was always active in several networking groups and with his family. Jeff suddenly and very unexpectedly passed at the end of April 2024. His wife, Cindy, is continuing the agency as they had both planned to do.

Cindy graduated from Centerville High School and later graduated from Fortis College with a Healthcare degree, top honors. Cindy had been working within the agency in a part owner/administrative capacity only, while still working in the healthcare field. Cindy officially joined Jeff in the agency in 2018 as an Independent Agent. Cindy is active in The Centerville Noon Optimist Club and was a previous Board Member of their swim/tennis club, Black Oak Swim Club.
